Forever launches with the original nine classes. Six of them gained a race that could not play them in 2004, and every class has a deep-dive post.
How to use the table
Use the table to narrow by broad combat role and see the new race pairing at a glance. The role labels summarize Blizzard's class descriptions and class deep dives; they are not a ranking or a difficulty score. The reviewed sources do not publish a comparable difficulty scale or class-by-class PvP tier, so those ratings are intentionally omitted. PvP ruleset availability is summarized on the PvP page.
The new combinations are Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Gnome Priest, Undead Paladin, Orc Mage, and Troll Warlock. Talents start at level 10. Legacy is a separate system with a 16-point cap per character at launch, not the talent tree. The talents page explains that distinction and links to third-party calculators.
Difficulty, solo and PvP tier cells are blank because the cited sources do not provide a comparable, current nine-class ranking. Filter by documented combat role and race eligibility, or sort those published columns to narrow your choice.

Questions
Which class heals?
Priest, Paladin, Druid, and Shaman all have a healing spec in the deep dives. Filter by the page you need instead of a tier list.
Where is the tier list?
I am not publishing one. Other sites already rank specs, and I do not have a raid-log sample of my own.
