Is WoW Forever free?
No. The base game needs a subscription or Game Time. Invite-a-Friend is a launch-week exception, and it ends 11 November 2026 PST.
The exception is short
A brand-new account does not get Forever for nothing. The $14.99 US monthly price is the ongoing ticket in the two pricing guides. Game Time codes, if you already own one, are the same ticket in another shape.
Invite-a-Friend codes, sent privately by someone who bought a pack, cover launch week from 4 November through 11 November 2026 PST. They do not include Skyborne, beta, or extra game time. I will not print a code string. When the window closes, this sentence should point at the expired page.

Questions
Can I buy a token instead?
