Warlock changes, specs, and races
Warlocks gain trolls. Pet health scaling and the curse package called Banes are the system changes in the November notes.
Pets, Banes, and the new race
Affliction, Demonology, and Destruction remain. Outpost's warlock notes talk about pets inheriting more of your stats, a Banes package that replaces the old curse stacking rules, and Firestone plus Spellstone changes. Wrack is called out around the 31-point mark. A 2 November beta note sets pet health at 2 per point of stamina, where an older value of 7.5 was in circulation. I print both numbers because the note itself states the change, and I do not blend them into one 'about 5'.
Trolls can be warlocks. That is one of the six new pairings. Orcs, undead, and humans stay available on the older side of the matrix, with gnomes where the matrix allows. The class guide describes the Warlock as ranged spell damage supported by demons, with Affliction, Demonology, and Destruction as its three specializations. A 2 November beta note reduces pet health gained per point of Stamina from 7.5 to 2; this is a dated tuning change, not a general conversion for pet damage or survivability. The guide also documents Firestone and Spellstone as weapon imbues and notes that they interact with Wizard Oil. No current raid ranking is included because the reviewed sources provide no live performance sample.

Questions
Did they delete curses?
The guide renames the package Banes. Read the deep dive before you delete your curse macros.
Is the pet weaker?
The 2 November note lowers health per stamina from 7.5 to 2. Other pet stats are described as scaling up. I keep both claims.
