Setup hub
Forever installs on Windows and macOS through the desktop app. Plan on a subscription, a current operating system, and a large free SSD.
The admission questions
Can the machine run it, where is the official installer, and is there a Mac, Deck, or console path? Those are the child pages. The graphics floor Blizzard printed on 17 September 2026 is AMD GCN 1, NVIDIA Maxwell, or Intel Skylake and newer. Older cards on that list are unsupported even if a driver still loads.
A community requirements guide adds Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB of memory, a DirectX 12 GPU with 4 GB, and 128 GB of free SSD space as the minimum shape, with 16 GB and more GPU memory as the recommendation. I label that table as one guide plus the official floor, not as a second Blizzard spec sheet.
Questions
Is 128 GB the download size?
The guide calls it free SSD space you need available, not the size of the downloaded files.
Can I install from Steam?
There is no native Steam edition in the platform list. See the console page.
