PvP, honor, and arena
Honor and ranks return. The guide describes a 15v15 battleground from level 30 and says there is no arena.
Battleground, ranks, and the faction limit
Outpost's PvP guide describes Darkspear Islands as a 15 versus 15 battleground for levels 30 to 60, a 2000-point score, honor, and ranks 1 through 14. It assigns 12 Legacy points to the PvP track, which is inside the 16-point character cap, not an extra wallet. Arena is absent in that guide. I will not announce an arena season the roadmap has not dated.
Polygon's launch story says Horde players on the PvP ruleset hit faction limits and queues while the rest of the launch looked calm. That is one outlet. If you care about world PvP, read the ruleset page before you lock the character, because the guide says the ruleset does not change later.

Questions
Is there an arena season?
Not in the sources I used. The roadmap mentions a PvP season refresh in 2027 without a format.
Does Plainsrunning matter?
The 5 November hotfix mentions Plainsrunning in PvP. Read that post for the actual change.
