WoW Forever launch hub
Forever is already live. The useful dates now are the 4 November opening and the 9 December raids, not a countdown.
What the week required
The path in the starter guide is a subscription or Game Time, the Forever version installed, a Classic or Enhanced preset, then a ruleset. Skyborne still needs Heroic or higher. Beta keys stopped working when the beta closed on 23 October 2026.
Name reservation ran before launch and is not a current task. The next dated group content is 9 December. Blizzard Watch's roadmap read places more raids and dungeons in spring 2027 and summer 2027 as seasons, not as calendar days.
| When | Event | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| 17 Sep–23 Oct 2026 | Beta, then closed | 2 sources |
| 4 Nov 2026, 3 p.m. PST | Launch | 2 sources |
| 9 Dec 2026 | Three raids | 1 official overview |
| 2027 spring and summer | More content, season only | 2 sources |
Questions
Is beta still joinable?
No. The beta page records the closing time. Buy a live edition instead.
What should a new account do today?
Follow the start page: subscribe, install Forever, pick a preset, pick a ruleset, then make a character.
