Private servers and Forever
Blizzard does not run a Forever private server. This site does not host files, repacks, or a server list.
What the reports actually say
The official way in is a subscription and the desktop app. Searches for a private server are real, and two October 2026 write-ups describe a TrinityCore branch aimed at a beta client build. Both pieces say the project content was not verified. I will not repeat install steps or file names.
Changing the client or trusting a custom certificate is a security risk on top of the contract risk. Blizzard's legal page is the contract. Separate 2026 enforcement against other private servers is context, not a Forever-specific press release. I found no Forever-only lawsuit notice.

Questions
Where do I download a private server?
You don't, from here. The download page links to the Battle.net app.
Is a local test server legal?
I am not your lawyer. The public reporting flags copyright and the Blizzard end-user contract.
